Petnat
Itchy Ear Drops are a new natural herbal product for itchy irritated
ears in dogs.
***
Important Do not use if your dog
has a perforated ear drum. ***
All ear drops and ear cleaners are contra-indicated if the ear
drum is perforated. If in doubt, please seek the advice of a Veterinary
professional.
- We would only recommend using the ear drops if your dog is currently
suffering from an itchy irritated ear. If your dog is not currently
showing signs of irritation in his ears, we would recommend that
you try our new natural Ear Cleaner product instead,
which will clean and deodorise your dogs ears.
INSTRUCTIONS:
-
Perform the double patch test before
using this product, directions are found below.
-
Shake bottle well before use.
- Using the plastic pipette in the bottle cap, drop 3 to
6 drops into the ear canal, depending on the size of your dog
(do not insert the pipette into the ear canal), and then
prevent your dog from shaking his head whilst you very gently
massage the ear for around 20 - 30 seconds. This ensures the drops
get to the bottom of the ear canal.
- If your dog prefers it, you may warm the drops before use. To
warm the drops, stand the bottle in a cup of warm water, or warm
in hands.
-
Gently wipe any excess debris that appears in the outer ear. Avoid
inserting anything actually into the ear canal (for example:
a Q-tip cotton bud).
- Apply ear drops initially once or twice a day for 7 days, and
then reduce application as necessary.
-
Store bottle upright.
- Once or twice a week, we recommend that you clean the ears with
our natural Ear Cleaner, to wash out the loosened debris.
- These ear products are only suitable for using only on dogs.
How
To Perform The Double Patch Test
|
| Rub
a small amount of the ear drops onto the inside of the dogs
ear flap where it can be observed over 24 hours. If there
is ANY sign of reaction (ie redness or irritation), avoid
using any more of the ear drops, wash off any residual product
and contact us for a refund. If there is no sign of any irritation,
the manufacturer recommends that you repeat the patch test
once more over the next 24 hours. |
